We have committed to take appropriate steps to buy only sustainable seafood, i.e. those from protected marine environments and good fishing livelihoods. Feng Sushi believes that the commitments SFC expect upholds our existing sustainable fish policy. We are delighted that this campaign is backed by Sustain, MSC, MCS and has the support of The Good Food Channel.
At Feng Sushi we are committed to only using MSC species when in season and otherwise only use sustainable farmed fish, fish from UK day boats and hook and line tuna from the Maldives. The Sustainable Fish City pledge is a collaboration of suppliers, restaurants, caterers and schools. We strongly believe a united approach, along with dialogue is essential to the future supply of fish to London. We are hopeful this campaign will gain momentum over the coming months and showcase the commitment of London’s restaurant trade.
